LAKEVILLE, IN. – LaVille Jr.-Sr. High School is proud to be hosting our first-ever Unified High School Track meet!

LaVille will play host to South Bend Adams on Wednesday, April 21.  The event is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. with shot put and long jump.  The other events that will be run are the 100m dash, 200m dash, and 400m dash.

“It has been a long time coming,” said LaVille Athletic Director Will Hostrawser.  “We have worked very hard to put the right people in place to get this meet hosted. We are very fortunate to have Stephanie Brown and Amanda Cox to help get this event off the ground.”

According to LaVille Unified coach Stephanie Brown, a unified track meet is run just like a regular track meet and the team is looking for volunteers to help.  If anyone is interested in volunteering to help at LaVille’s first-ever unified co-ed track meet, please contact Coach Brown at sbrown@unorth.k12.in.us
